Footy fans head to the MCG



In the early hours of Saturday 4 August, Mercy Connect participants headed down the Hume Highway to Melbourne to watch an afternoon of football at the MCG.

Blue Illusion Fashion Styling Night



Mercy Connect participants strutted their stuff down the runway at the inaugural Mercy Connect x Blue Illusion Fashion night, held at the Chapel at St. Johns on Wednesday 2 May 2018.

Meals on Wheels



Mark is one of a few Mercy Connect participants that spend their time helping the local Meals on Wheels service. Mark loves visiting regular Meals on Wheels customers including sprightly and independent Jean Smith and her cat Molly Smith.  Mark is a very caring man and the Meals on Wheels customers think the world of him.

Neville’s travel training

Over the past six weeks, Mercy Connect staff and participant Neville have been undertaking travel training on the local Albury/Wodonga public transport so Neville is able to get to programs at SITE Wodonga.

A passion for helping

A passion for supporting people has brought Jenny Birthisel and Jeff Edmondson to Mercy Connect.
As managers of Support Services, their role will be to ensure Mercy Connect participants attain the outcomes they choose and staff get the most from their working life.

Bottlebrush Cafe


THE Bottlebrush Café at Thurgoona is proving that you can have your cake and eat it too.

It has been operating since the beginning of 2017, providing hot drinks, snacks and lunches three days a week as well as catering for specific events.

IT was smiles all round when seven members of the St Johns work crew graduated with a Certificate I in Work Education from Wodonga TAFE.
