Coronavirus Update: NSW Border Closure

Wednesday 8 July 2020

Good afternoon all,

Please find the following information providing staff with an update on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Temporary NSW Border Closure
Today is the first day of the temporary closure of the NSW / Victoria Border Closure.  Staff living in a 50km radius of the border are eligible to apply for a permit as a ‘cross-border resident’.

Advice received from Services NSW for anyone living outside the 50km radius and is required to travel for work is to manually enter your address in the following way:

  • Street number – your full address
  • Street name – Within 50km’s of border
  • Suburb – Wodonga
  • State – Vic
  • Postcode – 3690

Permits are now available from Services NSW: www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-covid-19-nsw-border-entry-permit

If you require any assistance completing the online form, please contact Di Poynton at Reception or a member of the People and Culture team (Jeanie Keeton, Sushma Salian and Jessie Arney).

Protect yourself from viruses:

  • Clean your hands with soap and water, or hand sanitiser.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
