In light of the developing COVID-19 lock-down in Victoria, the following directive will come into effect immediately, until further notice:
- All Victoria-residing, office-based staff entering NSW for work must wear a mask whilst at a Mercy Connect work location.
a) If any office-based staff have a condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must notify their line manager, and consider a working-from-home arrangement (refer to Point 3 below).
- Any NSW-residing office-based / front-line (support) staff should wear a mask whilst at a work location during this time also.
- Any Victoria-residing, office-based staff may work from home, subject to: 1) approval being received from their line manager, and; 2) a suitable work environment at home.
a)Any staff that do opt to working from home, please update the staff calendar of your location. To setup ‘call-forwarding’, please press *71, then the number calls are to be diverted to, then press ‘Send’. To disable this function upon return, please press *72 then press ‘Send’.
- All front-line (support) workers (both Victoria and NSW-residing) must continue to wear masks when working with participants, either in a Mercy Connect owned property or a participant’s private home.
