Don MacMillan

It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Don MacMillan this morning.

Don moved to Albury from Tumut in 2007 and became a resident at Marrang (formerly Bell St) at that time.  During his time with Mercy Connect, Don developed many close friendships with his neighbours at Marrang, particularly Mark Pearsall and his team mates at Catherine’s Corner.

Don loved watching the Rugby League and Footy and had a specific preference for 80s music and milkshakes (of any flavour). He often enjoyed social activities, including going to the pub for dinner and was known to commandeer the BBQ cooking duties on Wednesday nights. Don also enjoyed spending time with his family in Tumut and would visit them when he had the opportunity to.

Mercy Connect extends its deepest sympathies to Don’s family and everyone who worked closely with Don over the many years he has been a part of the Mercy family.

If you, or anyone you know, requires support at this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, your leadership team, or People and Culture.  Alternatively AccessEAP can provide support regarding grief and loss and can be contacted on 1800 81 87 28 or

May Don Rest In Peace and perpetual light shine upon him.

Kind regards,

Trent Dean
