Kambora is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home located in Lavington, offering a safe, comfortable, and flexible environment where residents can build skills, confidence, and independence at their own pace. Positioned in a quiet court, the home provides a peaceful setting while still being conveniently connected to the local community.

At Kambora, residents are supported by a dedicated and experienced team who work closely with each individual to understand their goals and provide personalised, day-to-day support. The home is designed to support the development of daily living skills while fostering a stable, inclusive, and supportive environment.

The property is a spacious five-bedroom home featuring two bathrooms, two kitchens, and two living areas, along with multiple outdoor spaces that encourage enjoyment of the outdoors and opportunities for gardening. The layout offers added flexibility, with the ability to be configured as a four-bedroom home alongside a fully self-contained unit, complete with its own kitchen, dining, living area, and separate entry.

Current residents

Kambora is currently home to female residents who are supported to build their independence and develop confidence in their day-to-day living skills. The household is warm and collaborative, with residents enjoying shared activities together and occasionally connecting with a nearby home for social events such as BBQs and movie nights.

Support model at Kambora

Support Rosters are tailored to each resident’s NDIS plan and individual needs. We work with incoming residents and their support networks during the intake process to design the right roster before move in.
