HOW WE WORK

Our approach to support

Mercy Connect was founded on the belief that people with disability deserve to live full, connected, self-directed lives. That belief shapes everything we do — from how we roster staff to how we design our homes.

We’re not a large national operator. We’re a regional not-for-profit that has been part of this community for over 20 years. That closeness matters. The people we support are our neighbours — and that’s how we treat them.

Person-centred, always

Your goals, your preferences, and your pace drive everything we do. We design support around you — not the other way around.

Connected to community

We believe people with disability should be active, visible members of the community. Our services are designed to support that — not replace it.

Building independence

Our goal is always to build your capacity over time. Good support doesn’t create reliance — it creates confidence.

Continuous improvement

We actively research, seek feedback, and refine our practices. If something isn’t working for you, we want to know — and we’ll act on it.
