WHY CHOOSE MERCY CONNECT

What makes our Day Program different?

We’re a regional not-for-profit that has been part of this community for over 20 years. The people in our Day Programs are our neighbours — and that closeness shapes everything about how we run these programs.

Participant-centred approach

Supports are tailored to each child’s goals, preferences and support needs. This ensures your child receives meaningful support aligned with their development and wellbeing.

Focus on independence

We encourage children to explore, try new things and build confidence in their abilities. Over time, this helps develop greater independence in everyday situations.

Strong community connection

Activities promote inclusion and connection within the local community. Children gain confidence engaging with others in real-life environments.

Experienced and caring team

Our staff are trained, qualified and committed to delivering high-quality support. We prioritise creating a safe and positive experience for every child.

Consistency and reliability

Families can rely on a dependable service that focuses on safety and continuity of care. This consistency builds trust and supports positive outcomes.

Support for the whole family

Respite provides valuable time for carers to rest and maintain balance. This helps strengthen the overall wellbeing of both the child and their support network.
