Abbeyfield Australia is a national not-for-profit community housing provider operating 23 Abbeyfield houses. Together with Mercy Connect, we are committed to the development and support of sustainable community-based housing.

Abbeyfield has 6 units, with each unit featuring two modestly sized bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. One bedroom includes an ensuite, while the other has access to a separate bathroom. The units come fully furnished, except for the bedrooms, allowing residents to personalize their own space. Each unit is shared by two people, fostering companionship and a sense of community.
There is currently 1 bedroom vacant, offering an opportunity for a new resident to join this welcoming environment.
We are seeking a tenant who fits the following criteria:
- Female, aged between 18 and 40.
- Open to sharing with another female.
- Independent or requiring drop-in supports.
- If first time living independently, supports will be provided to assist with development opportunities.
Factors to consider if you are interested in applying:
- Age range of 18 – 60, any gender.
- The applicant is on disability support pension to pay rent.
- The applicant is prepared to sign (or a representative to sign) a Residence Agreement.
- The applicant is prepared to undergo a three month
probation.
