Our Employee Assistance Program through EAP offers our employees professional, independent and confidential counselling and support to themselves and their immediate family.

It is just one of the ways that we recognise the importance of our employees wellbeing and ensuring staff come to work each day feeling safe and supported.

Salary Packaging

As a not-for-profit organisation, our employees have the opportunity for salary packaging.  Through salary packaging, you can use some of your salary to pay for everyday expenses before income tax is calculated, meaning you pay less tax and have more money to spend.

Employee Recognition

We celebrate and recognise the great work our employees do on a day-to-day basis at Mercy Connect by awarding recipients that represent and showcase our organisational values of Compassion, Hospitality, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Accountability.

We also recognise employees that have dedicated 10, 15 and 20 years of service to our organisation.

Learning and Development Opportunities

At Mercy Connect, we have developed an extensive training program for all employees at all levels of the organisation. We invest in the learning and development of all employees so they have the skills and knowledge prior to working with our participants, and the standard remains high with our regular refresher courses.

The learning and development opportunities provide employees a chance to work on professional development which can lead to growth and career pathways within the organisation.


Employee App

In 2019 we introduced the Mercy Connect Employee App to better connect and communicate with our employees across all locations.

It provides an opportunity to share the latest internal and industry news, see what events are happening, find a contact within the organisation and link to other important areas such as the online rostering system and online learning system.
