What you will be supporting
Bottlebrush Café commenced in 2017 at the St John’s Day Program Centre in Thurgoona, NSW.
The programs run out of the café support participants to develop a range of skills including teamwork, social and food handling.
The Mercy Meals program, proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Albury, is a collaboration with Foodshare to prepare and deliver meals to people with a disability that live independently within the community.
The group also collaborates with The Carevan Foundation to prepare meals in bulk to feed the homeless and disadvantaged of rural Australia. They work as part of a community to fight hunger and poverty.
Bottlebrush Café is in need to upgrade equipment to commercial kitchen standard equipment, to continue to prepare and deliver the meals. Not only will your support today help our participants to continue their skill development in a commercial kitchen setting, you’ll be helping the wider community.
