We have many options to support you whilst you reside with us. These include:

  • Supporting you 24/7
  • Providing you with fully accessible accommodation that is available to you during holiday breaks and public holidays
  • A range of activities and programs to participate in
  • Providing choice as to how long you stay
  • Overnight, short or extended stays are available

Sioux Court is suitable for people who have high or complex needs. It can also be accessed for planned rest or for emergency accommodation and may be used as often as required or just once.

What to bring to an STA Stay
  • Medication in a webster pack.
  • Spending money.
  • Clothes that reflect season.
  • Toiletries.
  • Any special personal items that might assist with your stay e.g weighted blanket, own music, pillow.
  • Personalised care plans as required.

Short Term Accommodation is usually funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan.

You can talk to your Support Coordinator or Mercy Connect if you are unsure.

How much does it cost?

If you don’t receive funding through the NDIS or currently don’t have Short Term Accommodation in your NDIS plan, please contact our Intake Officer on 02 6043 3500 who can discuss some alternative funding arrangements.
